Coaxial Components Corp. is the parent company of industry leading RF component manufacturer Hengtong. The firm has refocused its operations to fill a void in the global RF component industry. With the tremendous growth and innovation in the space, communications, and infrastructure industries, systems engineers are challenged to evolve RF components to meet these changing needs. Higher performance in lower profile environments require higher quality and new design to deliver peak performance.
Direct Engineering Support
For many electrical engineers, the RF connectors and adapters are often the “Achilles’ heel” of the system design. Hengtong has prioritized direct engineering support in its manufacturing operations. The lofty objective is supported by a nimble manufacturing environment that allows for shorter lead times and greater responsiveness for research and development projects.
The 30+ year old company is approaching the challenge with the passion of an upstart. They have tapped into seasoned industry professionals to create a core EI (Engineering Intelligence) team within the company. Eric Wider is the firm’s Senior Manufacturing Engineer, bringing vast experience from his three-decade long career. Wider previously held key positions with Applied Engineering Products, EZ Form Cable Corporation, and Outman Industries. He provides practical solutions in the industrial connector and cable assembly market. He also served as the Engineering Manager for Innovative Solutions, a leading manufacturer of liquid level sensing products and Charter Arms, a manufacturer of firearms and related products.
Manufacturing Intelligence
“Everything about the way we’re doing business is focused on providing a one-on-one resource driven by engineering expertise,” says John Haas, Hengtong’s Director of Business Development. “Eric’s practical on-the-ground experience in this highly specialized field provides a collaborative approach to manufacturing solutions for our customers. We’re marrying our EI and MI (Manufacturing Intelligence) to meet and exceed our client’s expectations. We’re here to ensure high quality performance while executing on our delivery schedules. Our clients have confidence that we’re going to meet the schedules we commit to. That’s something that is lacking across the industry today.”
